Many manufacturers claim that the fluid in the transfer case or differential is "lifetime fluid." In reality, no fluid lasts forever and over time it loses its lubrication and protective properties. All-wheel drive systems use transfer cases and differentials that require regular fluid service to ensure proper lubrication and long component life. During this service we drain the old fluid and refill the system with new fluid that meets the correct specification.
