A battery may show normal voltage but still fail when a real load is applied during engine start. That is why a battery load test is performed. During this test we apply a controlled load and evaluate voltage drop and the battery's starting power. This allows us to determine the actual condition of the battery and how reliable it remains for daily vehicle operation.
