Cleaning the throttle valve
Throttle body cleaning
Idle air passage cleaning
Throttle plate carbon removal
Electronic throttle adaptation
Over time carbon deposits build up on the throttle body and inside the intake air passages due to crankcase ventilation gases. These deposits can interfere with proper throttle plate movement and may cause unstable idle, fluctuating RPM, or delayed throttle response. During service we remove the intake duct and carefully clean the throttle body, removing carbon buildup from the throttle plate and internal air passages. Modern vehicles use electronic throttle control, and after cleaning the throttle body an adaptation or calibration procedure may sometimes be required using diagnostic equipment. The listed price includes the throttle body cleaning service only. Additional work may vary depending on the vehicle design and access to the component. In some cases electronic adaptation or coding may be required after cleaning, which is performed separately and calculated according to the diagnostic program or confirmed with the service manager before the work begins.
