Diagnostics of immobilizers, antennas, signal receivers

The immobilizer system is responsible for vehicle security and engine start authorization. If the system does not recognize the key the vehicle may not start, warning messages may appear on the dashboard, or the start function may be blocked. Common causes include a faulty immobilizer antenna, a damaged key, signal receiver problems, or communication issues between electronic control modules. Proper diagnostics includes checking the key antenna, verifying communication between control units, and confirming correct key recognition. In some situations the problem may be related to wiring damage, recently replaced modules, or incorrect key programming. After diagnostics it becomes clear whether the system requires repair, key programming, or component replacement.
