Diagnostics of O₂, NOx, EVAP sensors, purge valve
O₂ and NOx sensor diagnostics
EVAP system inspection
Purge valve operation check
Emissions system fault diagnostics
Modern vehicles use complex emissions control systems designed to monitor exhaust gases and fuel vapors. Oxygen sensors (O₂), NOx sensors, EVAP system components, and the purge valve monitor exhaust composition and fuel vapor control. When these components fail the Check Engine light may appear, fuel consumption may increase, emissions related fault codes may be stored, or the vehicle may fail an emissions inspection. Proper diagnostics includes analyzing sensor data, checking purge valve operation, and testing the EVAP system for leaks or malfunctions. After inspection it becomes clear which component is not operating correctly and whether replacement or further system repair is required.
