Front/rear differential repair

The differential is an essential part of the drivetrain and is responsible for transferring engine torque to the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds during turns. Over time internal components such as bearings, gears, and seals can wear out, which may lead to humming noises, whining sounds, or vibrations while driving. Drivers may notice these noises at certain speeds or when the vehicle is under load. In some cases differential fluid leaks may also develop, which can accelerate wear of internal components if not addressed. At our shop we perform diagnostic inspections of both front and rear differentials, checking the condition of bearings, gears, seals, and the level and condition of differential fluid. Depending on the condition of the unit, repairs may include replacing bearings, seals, or servicing internal differential components. Proper diagnosis and maintenance of the differential helps prevent serious drivetrain damage and reduces the risk of expensive repairs later on.
