The heater blower motor is responsible for moving air through the vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. When a problem occurs the fan may only work on one speed, make unusual noise or vibration, or stop working completely. On some vehicles the blower motor is relatively easy to access, but on many models it is located deep inside the HVAC housing and replacement may require partial or even full dashboard removal. The final cost depends on the vehicle design and how complex it is to access the blower motor assembly.
