Replacing bumpers (front/rear)

Bumper replacement is a very common service in auto repair shops across New York City. Narrow streets, dense traffic, and limited parking often force drivers to park extremely close to one another. In areas like Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island it is very common for vehicles to lightly bump or scrape each other during parking, and in some cases the bumper can crack or break completely. During this service the damaged bumper is removed and a replacement bumper is installed. All necessary components are carefully transferred from the old bumper to the new one, including parking sensors, safety system radars, wiring harnesses, headlight washer components, mounting brackets, plastic trim pieces, and the front grille when required. After reassembly the bumper is installed back on the vehicle and all electronic components are checked to ensure proper operation. It is important to note that FIX SERVICE does not perform bodywork services. We do not paint, straighten, or repair body panels. Our work focuses on proper assembly and installation of the bumper and its related components.
