Replacing the air filter

The engine air filter cleans the air that enters the engine. Over time the filter becomes clogged with dust, dirt, and small particles, which can restrict airflow. In New York driving conditions this can happen faster because of city traffic, construction dust, and road debris. A dirty air filter can reduce engine efficiency and increase fuel consumption. During replacement we also inspect the air filter housing and intake passages to make sure clean air continues to flow into the engine.
