Cooling fan motor and relay inspection
The engine cooling fan is responsible for maintaining proper engine and air conditioning system temperatures. When a vehicle is idling in traffic, moving at low speed, or when the A/C is operating, the cooling fan provides airflow through the radiator. Over time the fan motor can wear out, develop noise or vibration, or stop operating completely. On some vehicles only the fan motor can be replaced, while many modern cars use a complete Cooling Fan Assembly that includes the fan, motor, and shroud. Our mechanics perform cooling system diagnostics, check temperature sensors, relays, and electrical supply to the fan, and replace the cooling fan assembly if necessary. A malfunctioning cooling fan can lead to engine overheating, especially during city driving conditions.
